Went to Aaron's today to replace furniture destroyed in an apartment fire. I was a returning customer and the front office staff were friendly and professional. I didn't have any problem with them. I had selected my purchase, signed the lease agreement and made my first payment which only required half of a months payment. I thought I was all done and ready to walk out and wait for delivery in a few days. One of the office staff said the manager would like to speak with me, so I sat in the office and the manager came in. He reviewed my history from being a previous customer and though I made payments, a few late due to being a full time college student and working part time, I paid my previous purchase off early. The manager said he wasn't impressed with my payment history and required more for a first payment before he would ensure delivery, thus altering the contract agreement I already signed. I asked him why wasn't this brought up before I signed the agreement and made my first payment. He said simply that he wasn't impressed with my past payment history. This was after reviewing my pay stubs knowing that I make a decent living wage. I told him thanks but no thanks and that I would take my business and money elsewhere where I won't be hassled for something five years ago. I don't respect the managements business practices by having you sign and agreement, make a payment and then bring you into the office to alter the deal. That's bad business and I will no longer do business with them. I believe IKEA was happy to do business with me today. Thanks IKEA.
leaving review because i am that pissed off over this company and they were closed so i couldn't call.. we went to pick out a washer machine which was $679 and came to be $70 a month.. finally when it was delivered.. they brought a dryer to the house so they had to come back with the washer.. the delivery guys were like talking to a wall and didn't know anything about appliances or hooking anything up.. when a load of wash was put in.. the hoses were leaking water all over the basement.. also noticed that there was a scratch and dent on the brand new washer.. i called to complain and the girl who answered the phone said she needed to talk to her boss about what can be done.. well that was at about noon and they closed at 5pm.. no call back.. so now i want this washer out of the house or a hefty discount.. i could of got the same quality washer from a scratch and dent place not a brand new appliance company. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the quality of the appliance and for their horrible customer service! too bad because we were interested in a new living room set and bedroom set.. guess we will have to go somewhere else.. will be calling once they reopen!
I've rented twice! Great experiences both times. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. Thinking about new living room furniture soon!
I got a computer from them. Payment is due now told them I was sick throughout the week, and can't pay until I get paid again you think they care. They said no if you have half of your payment. I told them no I have other important bills to pay Why can't you wait until I get paid. It's still in the same month. I told them come pick it up. If they only know Renter Center calling me now!!!
My husband and I have done business with them for the past 10 yrs. We have had no problems at all. We have bought a complete living room and bed room furniture from them, 2 tvs a washer and drier. I just ordered a computer from them today.
