They seem to forget that we pay there salarys as we do all other beuracratic positions its time we the people rise up and take the power back from these self serviant parasites that do nothing more than rape us of our money freedom and voice every single day
This place is absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't even rate it 1 if it was up to me.
My boyfriend is incarcerated here now as I speak after being in a car accident that almost literally killed him but definitely broke a few bones and have yet obtained proper medical care and been suffering so far a 100 days... Bones healing improperly more than likely too.
I am actually somewhat surprised that these guys are meeting with their lawyers in the same little disgusting booth areea their family members come and sit in maybe they're not maybe that's why they're not complaining something should be done once again I am appalled and embarrassed to be at Burlington county citizen after seeing the conditions of the facility shame on you! I only gave it one star because you had to give it something to write a review .
ITS A JAIL
My boyfriend was super mad that I didn't continue to peruse the issues.
I was so upset that I tried to press charges on him but his captain was of course see defending him and wanted to talk to me when I arrived to the police station saying nothing apologetic to me at all and was basically taking up for his employer the lieutenant who is very heavy and scary angry guy.
I hate this jail and the fact that they treat visitors like inmates too. It's very sad and I'm ashamed to live in the Burlington county area.
When I came up to the jail to do something for him and not aggressively the white heavy set lieutenant got all in my face in the bailing area where I was and chased me to the elevator threating to mase me right in my face while a black female correction officer was so calmed holding him back. I'M PRETTY SURE THE CAMERA'S CAUGHT IT!
The visiting booths are the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life on the visitor side even more than on the prisoner side. What concerns me more than anything is the conditions inside I have been told that a lot of these guys are sleeping on the floor seeing the floor in the visitors area makes me only feel discussed for what these guys must be going through granted they are there to serve time but maybe instead of letting them just sit there for 24 hours a day how about we have them clean up this mess do some painting and things like that what a waste of taxpayer money and time in general. We should be ashamed especially after the reports of the deaths there a few years back I would think that they would be more aware of what it's like there and handle it .
Of course this place sucks
Even though I faithfully come to visit my husband I hate it. The hallways, elevator and just everything smells musty. The jail is never appropriate for the weather (cold outside and in, hot outside and in). It takes so long to get into the non contact visit booth (then they only give you 15 mins give or take). I hate this jail.
these people should all be fired ive never seen so many incompitent people in my life there no signs to tell you were to go then when you finally figure it out theres nobody there to help you when somebody after 2 hours comes to help you ,you get a attitude like your botherin them should be no suprise as every state run facility is staffed by retarts ,morons,and idiots .

I am a burlington county tax payer and I am appalled regaurding the conditions at the Burlington county jail. And I'm talking about the part of the facility that is not in the locked down area. In the visiting area where we wait to go in the ladies room is absolutely disgusting not only is there no soap and no toilet paper there was a limited amount of brown harsh paper towels.
Hey Gov. Christie instead of sitting your fat ass on the beach looking like the main course at a pig roast for "40" minutes why dont you figure out how to serve we the people in a timely matter with a little grattitude that were paying for your next mortgage payment
