Boarded my Pomeranian-Poodle Taz here earlier this year when my family and I went away on a week-long cruise. Prior to boarding, he was shy and didn't like to be around other dogs. We admit we didn't socialize him as well as we should have.

The staff are so friendly, understanding of the dogs needs (Taz is an extremely picky eater!), and they know how to handle all dogs, and gently handle rescues and dogs from shelters. I definitely recommend this shelter.
Do not take your dog there under any circumstances. My dog got kennel cough there, and had problems with her skin, as of a result of a visit. The owner Dennis Brauth will gladly take your money and then disappear. He is.
Country Haven Kennels is the best! The owner Casey and her husband Rob take care of my babies while we are away. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is knowledgeable and very efficient. They also have a beautiful dog park with an agility course set up. Casey's son Robbie is also amazing! Robbie has helped in making my dogs become little people friendly! I can not thank them enough for all the care they give while we are away. If you are looking for a kennel where your dogs will be safe and happy while your gone this is definitely the place for you!
The only place I trust with my Lola. They really understand every pup's needs and ensure that they are all treated like family. I love that they expanded their property to include a dog park that offers scheduled private playtime for pups like Lola, who just prefer to play with their humans instead of other pups. This year I'm definitely taking advantage of that!
Spending a week at Country Haven Kennel helped him open up to open dogs. By the time we got back, Taz was the leader and giving the other dogs a run for their money!
